Greetings from DEBRA

Debra Krueger is a bi-coastal Master Esthetician. She has obtained licenses in New York, Oregon and California. Throughout the years, her diverse clientele has given her the pleasure and skillful experience in working with a wide range of skin types and conditions. After graduating from the Aveda Institute in 2010, Debra positioned herself with some of NYC’s most sought-after locations before branching out solo in 2015. Opening her first private studio in Manhattan, Debra knew she wanted to give clients a more personalized and integrated experience to their skin journey. A passion for clean, holistic, and clinical beauty continues to inspire her continuing education and certificates. With a focus in “Slow Aging” mindful treatments are crafted to bring restoring balance to the health of the skin. Her down-to-earth nature welcomes each and every client with comfort and ease. After spending fourteen years in the city that never sleeps, in 2021 Debra traded in her skyscrapers for pine trees and relocated back to Portland, Oregon. She continues to service clients in NYC which allows her to enjoy a bit of the world that has shaped her. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design which she still pursues as a hobby. When she is not in the studio she’s often exploring the woods on a hiking trail.

SUSTAINABILITY

As a nature lover herself, with experience in the Green Building Industry, Debra Krueger Skin Studio is mindful of our environment. We understand the detrimental impact the Beauty Industry has had on climate change. Our dedicated mission is to make every effort in reducing our carbon footprint as a business to better protect our planet. Our commitment is to partner with local and U.S vendors as much as possible to reduce emissions. We align ourselves with like-minded vendors “who share the same vision for a beauty industry free from animal cruelty, the exploitation of women while caring for our planet.”

The studio has proudly partnered with GREEN CIRCLE SALONS. The industry’s first sustainable salon solution dedicated to fighting beauty waste and climate change. We are thrilled to now be a local drop-off point for your empty plastic beauty containers so they can be properly recycled and repurposed. To schedule a drop-off time please email info@debrakruegerskinstudio.com or bring to your appointment.

The world is facing a climate crisis. But we’re fighting back.

  • 1,284,437 lbs of beauty waste was kept out of landfills and waterways by Green Circle Salon Members last year.

  • 85,800 kWh of clean energy was generated from Waste to Energy last year. That is enough to power 94 homes for a month or charge over 7,000,000 smartphones!

  • 47 Metric Tons of Co2e was avoided by keeping 157 metric tons of single-use waste (hair color, single-use items, PPE) out of the landfill. That is the same as taking 10 cars off the road for a year.
